In small game hunting, Argentina is a paradise, where amateur hunters will wonder if this place is real or a fantasy.

The two varieties of pigeons will prove you as a shooter. No limits exit on the numbers hunted. You will hunt them by sitting in the blind or at the water's edge.

Our country has great lakes and lagoons that
 shelter an incredible variety of ducks. From the
small “Franciscan” of brilliant colors and winding flight, to the majestic “Picasso” weighting 6 to 8 Lbs. The “Crestones” and “Siriries" of a wonderful flight that provide a real challenge to the shooter. Goose, Snipes, Biguas and other birds typical of our region, will impress those who visit us.

Our common partridge is widespread all throughout the central region of great fame called Las Pampas Humedas (The Wet Pampas). These hunting areas offer a great number of animals, offering a moderately low-challenge hunt. Not to mention, the wild life abounds and the scenery is breathtaking.

These same region is also occupied by the European hare, which is considered a pest and consequently there are no limits on its hunting. Two others kind of partridge will also delight you, the hunter. The wild partridge that lives in low forest and shrub covered savanna, and the copped partridge. They inhabit different areas but share a particular region. Both are small and the copped partridge weighs between 800 and 900 grams. The copped partridge is found in a greater variety, in groups of twenty or more around the province of Buenos Aires. By the end of a hunting day, you won’t be able to believe the number of cartridges spent.

The Vizcacha deserves a special mention, it is a rodent whose weight ranges between 4 Lbs for a medium sized female, to as much as 10 Lbs for the adult male. It is not well know abroad, but very common in Argentina. It's hunted at night, with torches or searchlights, since it never leaves its burrow during daylight. It's hunting is unlimited and in a good night it is possible to get more than one hundred. It has delicious white pink meat, very similar to that of rabbit.
