A: The hunting season starts March 1st through July 30th, which are the fall/winter months in South America. The wing shooting is carried out from May 1st to August 31st, although there are species available year-round like the dove.

Q: Approximately how much game will be seen each day (or what is the area population of the game species pursued)?
A: Every day you should see shoot-able game. Game is very abundant.

Q: What is the success ratio?
A: Depends on species being hunted. Red Stag 90%, Axis Deer 90%, Blackbuck 100%, Wild Goat 100%, Brown Brocket Deer 90%, Multi-Horned Sheep 95% and Wild Boar 70%, Water Buffalo 90%, Puma 80%.

Q: What time of year does each game species have its best horns, antlers or fur?
A: From 20 February up to the end of July for all species.

Q: What other species can I hunt if I fill my primary permit in the first day or two?
A: Wild Goat, European Wild Boar, Fallow Deer, Axis Deer, Blackbuck Antelope, Multi-Horned Sheep, Water Buffalo, Brown Brocket Deer, Collared Peccary, White Lipped Peccary, Puma, Capybara

A: Fully guided by very experienced guides.

A: You will eat in the dining room some deliciously prepared native home style cooking.

Q: Are foreign inoculations needed?
A: No.

A: U.S. Citizens need only a passport, others contact your nearest Argentine Consulate.

Q: What language do the guides and lodge people speak?
A: Predominantly Spanish, but an interpreter is available.

Q: What’s the temperature like?
A: You can expect temperatures from approximately 65 to 80 degrees (F), depending on the time of year.

Q: What are the hunting arrangements: number of daylight hours hunted, move to hunt site by foot or truck, tree stand or ground bling hunting, etc.?
A: This is a five day hunt and the we recommend to use the good horses the ranch owns, but just in case the hunter specially asks for (e.g. for physical conditions or just by his preference) he can also be driven to the different hunting grounds by truck, making the final approach by foot.

Q: How much hassle is there with locals or local officials (farmers, villagers, game wardens, etc.)?
A: None whatsoever. You will be hunting in private property.

Q: How much rain can I expect for the time of year I'm going?
A: Some rain is to be expected since the weather is unpredictable, we recommend you bring light rain gear.

Q: Do I need a permit to bring my gun into Argentina?
A: Yes. You need to contact your nearest Argentine Consulate to obtain the application.

Q: Do I need a hunting license?
A: Yes. This will be arranged by the outfitter upon your arrival. The cost is U$S 250 for the hunting license and an export permit for one red stag.

Q: What type of clothes do I need to bring?
A: Coat clothes from dawn to evening. This is the southern hemisphere and we have a 6 month difference with the northern hemisphere.

Q: Do I need special equipment?
A: We highly recommend a good pair of binoculars and a pair of comfortable hunting boots.
